Three Gambians have appeared before the Bundung Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing items valuing D133,000 from one Ya Rohey Cham of Ebo Town.
Malang Badjie 26, Mustapha Colley 23 and Saikou Lowe 29 are charged with two counts of house breaking and stealing.
They are accused of breaking into the house of Ya Rohey on August 12 this year. Prosecutors said they stole a flat screen valued D48,000 and TV stand valued D32,000 belonging to Ya Rohey. Other items included an iPhone, a wall clock and a router. They all pleaded not guilty.
Meanwhile, they were all granted bail in the sum of D75,000 each with one Gambian surety. This followed after prosecutor Sub-Inspector Jallow did not object to their bail.
Prosecution is expected to call in witnesses when the case resumes on September 27.
