Another addition, a regional sports official from North Bank Region has also been co-opted into the committee now tasked to run Gambian football for the next three months. Other members are Ba Jabbie, Haddy Sillah-Njie, and Malick Mbye, with others expected to be co-opted to run the different roles in the management and organisation of football.
On Friday it was reported in the media that Lamin Sanneh, former governor of the West Coast Region, initially named in the committee had politely declined the offer saying he needed to settle at his new job.
Meanwhile, the new GFF management is expected to hold meetings with the organising committee and other sections of the GFF today Monday with a view to resuming the federation’s programmes including the league and other matters.
