The National Assembly Member for Central Baddibu constituency Honourable Sulayman Saho recently distributed medical and clinical items to the Farafenni major hospital and other clinics within the constituency.
The beneficiary communities included Salikenni, Daru Rilwan, Kerewan, Njaba Kunda, and Farafenni respectively.
Speaking at the distribution ceremony, Saho who also doubles as the national youth president of the United Democratic Party said the items were available as a result of the partnership between his office and the Give Back Charity organisation based in Sweden.
The Baddibu lawmaker lauded the efforts of the donors, saying their intervention is timely, as it will go a long way in facilitating the effective health care delivery of the beneficiary clinics and the hospital.
Also speaking at the presentation, Mr. Sulayman Sanyang the UDP District Chairman and representatives of the beneficiaries applauded the good gesture of Saho and called on the donors to double their efforts in assisting rural hospitals and clinics with such items.
The beneficiary communities also thanked NAM Saho for his unflinching support and attention given to their communities.
