Mr Darboe reminded the villagers that the VDF is a non political organization whose only motive is to help alleviate hardship and contribute to the good living condition of the people of the Gambia by supporting communities across the country for the last 25 years.

All what we may need from you is prayer and best wishes, Mr Darboe told a very happy crowd at Wassu. The occasion also doubles as an adoptation ceremony by the communities of Mr Darboe as their patron and father.
