The proprietor of Vigilant Security Company Limited, Haddy Faal Fatty Tuesday donated food items, protective gears and hand sanitisers to the staff of the company.
The donation is meant to support staff to protect themselves and their families against the Coronavirus.

Speaking shortly after presenting the items, Madam Fatty said the donation is also necessitated to smoothen economic difficulties people are facing as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This, she hoped, will also encourage them to stay at home to contain the spread of COVID-19.

She urged her staff and the general public to adhere to the preventive measures given by the World Health Organisation and Ministry of Health as a measure to contain the spread.
“These measures include frequent hand washing, maintaining social distancing, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, practice respiratory hygiene, as well as seeking timely medical attention in case of fever, coughing and difficulty in breathing,” she advised.
“This will help the citizenry greatly in containing the spread of Coronavirus in the country,” she added.

The presentation was held at the company’s headquarters at Tipper Garage in Bakoteh. Vigilant Security Company Limited is a Gambian owned security outfit, which provides security and protection to life and property in the country.
