The West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists in Collaboration with the pharmaceutical society of the Gambia yesterday staged a graduation ceremony for 78 graduands.
The Opening ceremony was presided over by the Vice president Fatoumatta Jallow-Tambajang who told the audience that a sound regional integration will boost the production of drugs to enhance quality of health within the sub region.
She assured the gathering that The Gambia Government will provide technical and financial support to the West African postgraduate College Of pharmacist to enhance the health system in the sub region and congratulated the new fellows.
The Deputy Minister of Health from Liberia Dr Francis N Kateh said his country is now opened to investors to invest in the health sector and conduct proper research to boost the health sector.
The opening ceremony was followed by tour of various products on display.
