The four positions include that of Goalkeeper trainer while the rest is believed to be coaches for the Under 17, Under 20 and Under 23 teams.
Speaking to this paper yesterday, the GFF first vice president of the GFF, Abdoulie ‘Star’ Jallow, who is also head of the Technical and Development Committee at Football House, said ten coaches have applied for the positions and all of them have been interviewed by a panel of eminent experienced technicians and football administrators all of whom asked very informed and quality questions while putting the applicants to a great test. The process was intense and rigorous and each applicant was treated fairly,” Mr Jallow said.
Asked how soon the appointments will be made, Mr Jallow said, the process of appointing competent people for jobs are not easy and must be seen to be transparent, fair and above board hence the need to avoid hasty decisions. “You the press are our partners but you should not put undue pressure on us so that we can complete the job efficiently. Once we are done we will let everyone know, again through you people,” he concluded.]]>
