Woman, 35, killed by truck in Kaur

A 35-year-old woman was knocked to death by a small truck on Monday, The Standard has been reliably informed.

The victim, one Mariama Yaye Bah, mother of 6, a resident of Nema Sarreh Matty, was laid to rest yesterday at her native village. The driver of the truck is currently being held at the Kaur Police Station.

Aliman Bah, husband of the victim said his wife was returning from Farafenni where she went to visit a sick relative after running her daily business errands.
