Mariama Conteh alias ‘Kuku’ from the Bakau quarters of ‘Farokono’, appeared at the high court yesterday charged with a single count of murder, six months after the alleged incident occurred.
She is accused of stabbing death, Tijan Bah, 23, who fathered her child.
State prosecutors alleged that Mariama fought with Tijan around 2am and in the process stabbed him with a knife on the left side of his neck resulting in his demise.

She pleaded not guilty.
The case will resume on 27 April 2015 for hearing of witnesses’ testimonies.
