Four men, arrested by the police criminal investigations division of Brikama Station, have been charged with violence, conspiracy to commit a felony and stealing motor vehicle.
The four, believed to be residents of Brikama, West Coast Region allegedly attacked a taxi driver and stabbed him repeatedly on the chest and back before taking his Mercedes Benz, mobile phone and D3,000.
The stolen vehicle has since been recovered at Brikama Madina by police, who also arrested another man for attempting to buy it from the alleged robbers. The men have been remanded.
