Armed robbers strike Farafenni GNPC station

Armed robbers have attacked the Gambia National Petroleum Company (GNPC) petrol station and reportedly did away with large sums of money, local sources in the town confirmed yesterday.
According to sources, the robbers scared away the security on duty with guns before proceeding to loot the station’s safes.

The Standard contacted the Public Relations Officer of the Gambia police Force Spt David Kujabi who confirmed the incident but stated he did not have much detail yet.
