It was all smiles for the 150 strong Banjul team to the Nayconf 2017 on Thursday when they received a handsome D60, 000 cash donation from the Team Rohey Lowe Campaign. Madam Lowe is one of the aspiring candidates for mayor of Banjul. A businessman specializing in the provision of cleaning materials, she also donated other sanitary materials worth over D15, 000 to the Banjul team.

Presenting the donation, Madame Lowe told the Banjul Youth Committee that their request was an obligation to her. ”You have come to take what is yours because Banjul belongs to all of us and we all share its development and progress,” she said.

She reminded the Banjul youths that her campaign is focused on women and youth development and that desire remains afresh in her mind as she made that donation. She wished the team success in Basse where they will take part in a seminar and many sports disciplines.
