By Lamin Cham President Adama Barrow flew back home Friday brimming with confidence from a successful tour of Europe. Speaking on arrival at the Airport Barrow said he was in France at the invitation of President Francois Hollande and the EU too got wind of it laid one for him to visit Brussels. “So the trip was a case of killing two birds with one stone. We had fruitful talks with both top French and EU officials and I can tell you all the talks were positive”, he said. The President said France is a very strong member of the EU and they are potentially the biggest donor to the Gambia. “They are willing to help and overall there is lots good will toward Gambia,” he said. The President described his meeting with Gambians in those countries as positive. Adding, “our message to them was clear: Come back home and all hands be on the deck and we move on”.
