Mr Jawneh further disclosed that the support from their partners was very timely and important, noting that if they are to buy the booklets alone it will cost his office about D170,000 while the total cost for all the materials is D250,000. “We are very grateful to YHRI under the leadership of Mr Ruslan Khusainov, Executive Director for his continuous support,” he said.

According to him, the creation of the club and seven others was sponsored by the US Embassy in Banjul. He commended the US mission in Banjul for its commitment in promoting human rights education in the country.
With this support, thousands of Gambian children and youth will learn and know more about their fundamental human rights.
