A 15-year-old boy has won the GCCI raffle, driving home with a brand new C-Class Mercedes Benz.
Modou Lamin Jallow, a student of SOS Herman Gmeiner Upper Basic School, expressed joy and thanked the board of GCCI for availing him the opportunity to win a remarkable prize.
Presenting the new car to Jallow at the Chamber on Friday in Bijilo, Beatrice Mbodge, executive staff of GCCI and chair of the occasion, seized the opportunity to thank all those who were present at the gathering and harped on the significance of GCCI’s Golden Jubilee celebrations.
She said the raffle was a never a trick to get customers at the trade fair and that little Lamin Jallow’s new Benz is a testament to that.
Muhammed Jagana, President of GCCI, urged industrial businessmen to join the GCCI business committee so that they can create job opportunities and develop the local content.
