Changes in date for the draft National Security Policy consultation

The Steering Committee for the Security Sector Reform Program under the Chair of His Excellency, Lawyer Ousainu N Darboe, Vice President of the Republic of The Gambia wishes to inform the general public, particularly those stakeholders who were invited to the planned National Security Policy Consultations slated for 19th and 20th September 2018, that owing to the respectfully observed Muslim Feast of “Yaw-Mul Asura” which will be observed on the 20th September 2018 – same date as day 2 of the consultations, the office will henceforth move events for day 2 to the 21st of September 2018.

This implies the consultations will be held on the 19th and on the 21st of September 2018 respectively at the Ocean Bay Hotel in Cape Point, Bakau.
All invited guests, panelists, media and participants are urged to take note of this adjustment accordingly. The Steering Committee for the Security Sector Reform Program under the Chair of His Excellency, Lawyer Ousainu Darboe, Vice President of the Republic of The Gambia wishes to express regret for any inconvenience this change may cause.
