Ex-WAAPP coordinator granted bail

The bail hearing was held in chambers and it is not clear on what grounds it was granted, though the issue came following the application of defence lawyer, Lamin Camara. After the hearing, Mr Jobe was whisked away by prison wardens and  it is not clear whether he met requirements for bail. 

Meanwhile, the case of the project coordinator and the acting finance and administrative manager of the Rural Finance Project of the Ministry of Agriculture is now at the High Court in Banjul.

Lamin Fatajo and Muhammed Lamin Mass were not in court when the case came up yesterday. The case failed to proceed and was adjourned to January 29.

Fatajo and Mass are accused of causing over D1 million loss to the economy of The Gambia.
