Bouba N’Dour, the programme director at popular Senegalese Television Future Media, TFM and Gambia’s famous TV host Fatu Camara, yesterday registered a regional public relations company called Senegambia Communication and Consultancy Services (SCCS).

The PR company will operate in Senegal and The Gambia, providing services in advertisement, marketing and branding with the theme ‘Creating New Content.’

Fatu Camara told The Standard that she and Bouba, given their background, are well-placed to provide better public relation services to businesses in the neighbouring in order to improve their outreach and reputation.

She said: “Communication is important and if businesses are working and no one knows what they are doing, it will be like they are not doing anything. We will be tapping into the West African market and we will go international. We are here to serve businesses and people and they should make good use of it.”
Meanwhile, Bouba said the company will set up offices in Gambia and Senegal.

The company, he said, will help Gambia be at a level where it can tap Senegalese experience and also work on Senegambian partnership, where private sector actors can do joint ventures.

“We are going to be involved in all levels of operations to make sure the expectations are met and offer quality services.”
