GAMBIA FINED 5000 OVER TOGO MATCH

The Confederation of African Football, Caf, has once again fined The Gambia. This time Caf imposed a 5000-Dollar fine for what it said are things mentioned in the reports of the match officials in The Gambia versus Togo match in Banjul October 16. These incidents, according Caf, are: § Projectile of missiles at the end of the match. § Departure was delayed for one extra hour due to the attitude of the supporters outside the stadium. It is not immediately known what the reaction of the GFF will be. The federation and appealed against an earlier Caf fine of 10,000 Dollars over the Algeria match, the verdict of which is either not decided or not made public yet.]]>
