Gambia set out to bissau international youth camp

The the annual International Youth and Sports Summer Camp opens in Bissau today.

The week long event is an annual programme which features young people from the sub region who come together to widen their horizons through discussions as well as take part in big sports jamboree. The Gambian delegation comprising 130 youths left yesterday for the camp.

The coordinating body of the camp is the National Sports Council, NSC, whose officials said the camp is unique and very useful for the children who are between 10 and 16 years.

In addition to discussions and exchange of knowledge and experiences as well as getting to know each other, the youths will play different sports during their stay.

The Gambia hosted the last edition at Soma LRR, last year.
