GAMBIA TO HOST MAIDEN SENEGAMBIA VOLLEYBALL TOURNEY

By Modou Lamin Beyai The Gambia Volleyball Federation is gearing up to host the first edition of the Senegambia volleyball championship in Banjul this weekend. Four volleyball clubs from Senegal and four from the Gambia will take part in the championship designed to cement the bilateral relationship between the two countries through sport. Serekunda East and the Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) male volleyball teams and Interior and GAF female teams will represent the Gambia whiles ASFA and Saltigues male teams and Soccocim and Saltigues female teams will represent Senegal in the three day championship from December 20th to 24th 2018 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau. The event according to the Volleyball Federation is “dedicated to the President of the Republic of The Gambia, Adama Barrow.”]]>
