According to reports carried on a reputable sports media, the Gambian professional player was arrested at the house of a team mate and was only given a bail after his club deposited 100 000 euros, pending investigations.
The report also disclosed that since the player is young, his case, if there happens to be any, will be expedited in a juvenile court. Police did not however question any of his teammates about it and lawyers representing the player said the presumption of innocence still applies in the case.
According to reports, his club had so far refused to comment on the matter.
