He said the course which started yesterday and ends Friday is attracting almost all of the first division referees and it would only be fair to give a gap in the league programme to allow this course to go ahead.
“Besides, the Fifa instructor’s availability also factors in here as he is moving from here to Sierra Leone. So if we do not make use of his schedule, it may not happen any sooner,” he said.
Touray further revealed that only the mid-week fixtures are affected as the weekend schedules are to go ahead as scheduled. “We would have to push the FA Cup quarter finals too to a new date for the same reasons,” he concluded.
