GNOC welcomes Italy-Gambia Volleyball partnership

Goodwill Sports Ambassador Tijan Jaiteh and partners from the Italian sport club ACSI visited the Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) at its headquarters. The visitors Luigi Tardolio and Fillipo Baach were in the country as a follow up top a recent partnership with the Gambia Volleyball Federation which enabled them to provide a coach for the female volleyball team.

Tijan Jaiteh, a former national football team captain and his Italian counterparts had a close door meeting with executive of the GNOC on cementing the partnership. The GNOC will also participate in the project as the body responsible for Olympics in The Gambia.

The President of the GNOC Mr Dodou Joof and colleagues welcomed the delegation at Olympic House and expressed satisfaction about the partnership which he said is great development in the drive to develop volleyball which  he said is growing very big in the Gambia.
