The Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) is hosting a 3 day World Customs Organisation (WCO) Regional Meeting of ECOWAS member states, under the auspices of the West African Customs Administration Modernisation (WACAM) Project, from 26 to 28 November 2014 at Kairaba Beach Hotel. The theme of the meeting is: WCO-WACAM Project-Phase 1-Final Regional Event Achievements, Lessons Learned and the Way Forward.
The meeting will be attended by the director, Capacity Building Directorate of the WCO in Brussels. Also in attendance will be the regional development manager for West and Central Africa, Capacity Building Directorate and the WACAM project manager from the WCO headquarters in Brussels.
The meeting is to be officially opened by the Gambian minister of Finance and Economic Affairs on Wednesday 26 November 2014 at 9am.
