Speaking during the ceremony a week today, Sheikh Sulayman Masanneh Ceesay, chairman of the foundation, expressed his hope that the execution of the well project would help to address the challenges of water in Sukuta.

He said: “We have an elaborate plan for our people to ensure that their challenges of water are addressed exhaustively. We believe that government cannot do it alone and we also have to contribute in the development process. This project is just an example of what we are doing to resolve the challenges of water facing our people. We hope to implement more well-drilling projects for communities in all parts of the country. We want to make sure that every community has access to water which is a very vital component of life.”

Ceesay further noted that the well project would improve conditions for the community to have consistent water supply both for domestic use and otherwise.

I want to thank Allah for the support we received from the community and various partners in the successful implementation of this project.”

The people of Nema Su thanked Al Madinah Foundation for the assistance and said it would go a long way in addressing their water needs.
