Mam Jainaba Gaye

Management & policy analysis student

She is well-known as Da Deeva, a Graduate of Gambia Methodist Academy and now studying Management and Policy Analysis at Management Development Institute. Mam Jainaba also studied travel and tourism with distinction and briefly worked in the industry. However, she left to study policy and analysis because “workers are not treated right and some organisations are not well structured and there must be an end to it. This moved me to pursue a career in management and policy analysis.” Hardworking, determine and focus, Mam Jainaba also worked as a sales agent at a solar company, dreaming to become a role model to young people. “My role model is my big brother, Modou Gaye. He’s courageous, religious. He stands by the truth and believes in himself.” Words by Aminata Ceesay]]>
