JABBI TO QUIT SUPER NAWETTAN CHAIR

By John Mendy The chairman of the Super Nawettan Organising Committee, SOC Ba Jabbi has announced he will quit the post when his term as head of Brufut sports ends later in the year. Under the Super Nawettan rule only presidents of the 12 Zones can be executive member of SOC. Jabbi had earlier said he is on his last term as president of the Brufut Youth and Sport Development Committee and that he will quit to embrace his family and other matters. “I think there a time to say quits in anything you may be doing. That time has come for me and I will definitely go. Jabbi and his team are praised for bringing fast and concrete development to brufut Football ranging from attaining Super Nawettan status to reaching the second division. “What is required now is for others to come in and continue with our programs and that will be very soon when we hold our congress. I am not going away from sports or football completely but this will create more time for me to focus well as the President of Brufut United which I am fully a part of”, he concluded. If he goes the SOC will have to elect a new chairperson to lead the committee in the coming season.]]>
