Kabafita Diaspora give rice to home residents

Natives of Brikama Kabafita in the Diaspora last Thursday, 21st May, 2020 donated 228 bags of rice to residents of Kabafita as part of an effort in the fight against COVID-19.
Lamin Sanneh, Governor of West Coast Region expressed appreciation at the benevolence, noting that they have done a remarkable thing for their society and implored them to continue the gesture.

He urged other youth organizations to emulate Kabafita United Diaspora.
Alagie S Darboe, National Assembly member for Brikama North Constituency stated that the donation came at a better time and thanked the donors for the gesture.
Alieu K Darboe, Councillor for the Ward expressed gratitude noting that the donation would help in making their work easy.

Faye Kujabi, chairman of the Association in The Gambia disclosed that the donation is part of the association’s contribution towards supporting Kabafita residents in the fight against COVID-19.

He stated that COVID-19 is real whilst warning people to be vigilant and advised people to follow guidelines of health personnel.
