Ndow’s holds art exhibition

By Aminata Camara It was a spectacular show of artistic materials as Ndow’s Comprehensive Senior Secondary School Thursday held its arts exhibition, which was meant for showcasing talents of students from their art department. Speaking at the exhibition, Mr. Adeniyi Fayemi, Principal of Ndow’s Comprehensive Senior Secondary School, said arts is all about creativity and that it is the act of bring something out of your mind into reality. He urged students to put more efforts by keeping the good momentum, saying that they have enough potential to showcase in the creative industry. Ramatoulie Jallow, a grade 9 student, spoke of her motivation and the importance of art as a subject. She said the students plan to learn to be creative and not just pass exams as the case is in may schools. She added that she chose arts as a subject because it makes her creative and might help having a career in art. Kalilu Taal, arts teacher of the School, said 100 candidates are to sit arts in WASSCE this year and his subject usually comes on top in general performance.]]>
