The newly appointed minister of youth and sports Hadrammeh Sidibeh has said his vision for the Gambia is to take Gambian sports to a desired admirable level.
Speaking for the first time since his appointment was announced Hadrammeh said he is not a total stranger to Gambian sports especially football as he was a Wallidan player back in the late 70s alongside Biri Biri and others and since remained a passionate follower of football. He said like everyone else he had watched the Gambia painfully and unsuccessfully struggle to qualify for major football competitions and he will use his enery and influence to end that trend.

The new minister said but for any thing to be possible he and his team must get the support of all stakeholders and the country as a whole. “I will open up to all for support and collaboration in the search for greater sports and youth development in the country, he said.
Mr Sidibeh a professional finance and accounts guru currently at the University of the Gambia, also worked at the National Partnership Enterprise NPE of Alhagie OB Conateh.
