Massive work started at Busumbala where a new football field is created under the GFF-Fifa forward support project.
A huge area, measuring 200X 200 meter square is been cleared for the construction of GFF mini Stadium under the FIFA Forward Support.
It could be recalled that last week, the GFF finalized arrangements with Project Contractors, Ground beneficiaries and the Project Committee in an interface at the Football House in Kanifing where the parties held a round table meeting to familiarize themselves with each other. Under the programme sooner or later each provincial region will get a stadium to chosen by the regional football associations RFAs.
Projects earmarked for 2018 include Foni in the West Coast Region, Kiang for LRR, CRR, NBR and URR.
The summary indicates that there will be at least one playable grass field in each regions.
