The police anti-crime unit has arrested 35 youths, mainly foreigners as part of a crackdown on the mounting rise in petty crimes in the Greater Banjul Area.
The Standard has learned that some of them may even include people suspected to have participated in past troubles in Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The arrest came after widespread criticism and concern from Gambians following recent rise in crimes and criminal activities.
