After qualifying for the 4th time in a row into the final of the female category of Principal’s Cup, the Presentation of Mary Basic Cycle School eventually clinched the title this year after defeating Tallinding UBS 2-0 in the just ended edition.
Kaddijatou Drammeh commonly known as Small who plays for Fortune-Bi FC in the GFF Female 2nd Division opened the scoring in the 19th minute. She had an effort which was too powerful for the Tallinding goalie to hold.
Wuday Colley put her name on the score sheet in the 63rd minute finishing a long range free kick from Kaddijatou Drammeh.
Presentation began their journey with a draw against Janjanbureh. A 7-0 humiliation of St Mulumbas and 2-0 thrashing of Kartong completed a good first round for them.
In the semi final against St Theresa’s, Presentation won 3-2 in post match penalties.They went home with a cash prize of D15,000.00 .
