In the final match of their ten games fixtures, the Red Scorpions beat Brikama United girls decisively (7-1) to march to the podium as the queens of Gambian female football.
Speaking shortly after the decisive match, media officer for Red Scorpions Babucarr Sey said the championship had been hectic but enjoyable as his players just did what is expected of them and that is to retake the title.
