A statement from the National Sports Council yesterday announced that athletes and other runners can contact the council immediately to process their participation in this special event. No date has been indicated in the statement for the race or its format but Ebou Secka, a senior official at the NSC responsible for national associations, disclosed that the event will take place next month and will comprise a 21km half marathon and 15km open race from the Airport Junction and Tabokoto respectively and terminating at Banjul.
