Russia interested in expanding relations with Gambia – Putin

President Vladmir Putin of Russia has said Moscow is interested in expanding its already good relations with The Gambia by providing assistance in machinery and agriculture. President Putin was speaking in Kremlin recently when the Gambian Ambassador Jainaba Bah presented her Letters of Credence to him.

President Putin also expressed Moscow’s desire to extend assistance in education too. On her part Ambassador Bah extended President Adama Barrow’s special greetings and thanked Putin for his assuring speech and goodwill extended to the Republic of The Gambia.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussions in Moscow also highlighted the Visa -Free protocol for Diplomatic and Service Passports holders from both countries which was unanimously adopted by the National Assembly of The Gambia recently. The discussion ended fruitfully with both sides happy for a very warm fraternal relationship.
