SCORPIONS TO FACE GHANA TEST TODAY

The national team is expected to play a friendly match today in Accra where they landed Monday for a four-day training camp enroute to Cotonou. According to GFF sources the first of planned friendlies will be against Black Stars B side. The match is expected to kick off at 9am.
The team will then move on to Benin to start their CAN-2019 qualifiers.
At Monday’s farewell meeting with the players at Football House. GFF President Lamin Kabba Bajo thanked the players for their selfless service to the nation and urged them to keep working hard and wished them success in Benin.
Team captain Omar Colley returned thanks to the football federation for the timely provision of all necessary logistics. He promised that the Scorpions will continue to work in unison and keep the Gambian flag high.
The Captain later presented one of the new Puma kits sponsored by Multi Media Gate Way International (MGI) to the President and urged him to wear it on their match day, Sunday 11th June.
