The training is the first development project initiated by the new executive of the SJAG with just three months in office.
Lamin Cham, one of the resource persons, described the course as “a sure way of improving the quality of the work of sports journalists”.
At the end of the course, all participants were certificated and in new found spirit of comradeship more journalists completed the formal process of acquiring full official membership of the SJAG.

The course was coordinated by SJAG assistant secretary, Alieu Ceesay, a senior reporter at the Daily Observer.
