O’BOY VISITS STUDENTS AT GAMBIA COLLEGE

Gambian afro-manding star Oboy together with Jula Kunda team on Wednesday 9th June 2021, visited students at the Gambia College campus in Brikama.

The visit was in response to the students’ request for assistance to his management about the unfriendly living conditions at the dormitory.

During the visit, he toured the college  dormitory, where he was deeply saddened after seeing the living conditions of the students, financial constraints and inadequate food and lots more.

According to the student’s union, female students find it hard to access sanitary pads, while others depend on the mango fruits for daily meals.

The singer called on any person or institution that can lend a hand to do so as the students’ living condition at the college needs improvement.

Pa Salieu and Slowthai collabo in “Glidin’” music Video

Gambian British rapper, Pa Salieu has teamed up for a wild new single with Slowthai on the song “Glidin” two of today’s most rambunctious and talented rappers.

This followed the former’s 2020 album Send Them to Coventry and the latter’s TYRON from earlier this year.

The track comes with a KC Locke–directed video that finds the two in a terrifyingly black-lit room and a padded asylum cell. They also kind of go wild on a piñata. It’s all unhinged, which is not unexpected—it’s kind of what makes the two rappers some of the most exciting performers today.
