Police prosecutors yesterday withdrew the sedition charges against a Gunjur man, Omar Touray who was on trial for allegedly insulting President Adama Barrow.
He was appearing before principal Magistrate Omar Cham of the Brikama Magistrates Court.
The prosecutors accused Omar Touray of uttering statements against President Adama Barrow, knowing full well that such comments may cause violence.
The Magistrate however warned Omar to desist from such acts and be a good citizen.
