Last weekend the Britons returned to The Gambia and visited the Tailinding-based Raptim Academy to watch a friendly match between the academy and Daranka of Lamin village which featured different categories of teams.
After watching the kids display good skills Evans said he is impressed with the amount of work done to mould children in football at Raptim and promised to convince more Stoke City fans to help the academy with material support.
To show their appreciation the Britons gave balls and jerseys to Raptim whose manager Julius Camara praised them for the support and looked forward to potential fruitful cooperation between his outfit and Stoke City fans club and fans.
