Serekunda West has come close to laying hands on another Super Nawettan title after beating Manjai Kunda 4 -3 on penalties in last night’s first semi final.
Both sides fired blank in a vigorous 90-minute fight watched by thousands at East Park.
They have now set themselves up against either Brikama, now a very hot favorite for the cup and the surprise package Kombo East who have so far defied all logic as an inexperienced side to reach this far, and in dramatic style too.
But tonight’s fight is a David vs Goliath and unless they surrender too soon, Kombo East will face a ruthless Brikama side that will be too lethal to contain.
But surprise is the name of Kombo East this year and there just might be a big one in store tonight. Kick off is at 4:30PM.
