The Gambia Football Federation GFF has paid match bonuses amounting to One Hundred and Fifty Seven Thousand Dalasi (D157, 000. 00) to the National Women’s Scorpions at a brief ceremony held at the Football House in Kanifing.
The GFF president Lamin Kaba Bajo congratulated the girls on their victory and eventual qualification to the second round of the AWCON Qualifiers. “I also want to thank the technical team and all the support staff for making us proud.” The GFF is very proud of the girls for the historic win they have achieved for the country. “We will continue to give you all the support,” he said. The Gambia now meet Nigeria in the next round on June 4.
