Speaking at the opening of the event, the deputy director of health promotion and education, ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Mr Sanjally Trawally, described the youth group as bold and courageous and applauded them for organising the fair.
Also speaking, the executive director of National Aids Secretariat (NAS), Ousman Badjie, reminded the gathering of Ebola and HIV/AIDS and urged them to take precautions.
In his remarks, the country director for YCFaC, Lamin Darboe, noted that the purpose of this year’s health fair is to increase awareness on health issues.
