‘You are the cream of Gambian football’ (GFF VP tells coaches)


The GFF, he went on, will ever continue to collaborate with the GNOC and the MOYS for the development of football in the country.

Coach Instructor, Jan Poulsen, from Denmark, a man with vast experience in African football, said good coaches are major prerequisites to football development.  However he said there are a lot of opportunities that abound in The Gambia and Africa in general, once all stakeholders come together to effect changes that would tackle the many challenges existing currently.

The former Tanzania coach said the training would be an interactive session instead of solo presentation.


The GNOC president Momodou M Dibba, expressed delight to partner with the GFF for the training course and advised the coaches to spread their wings to the regions and transmit the knowledge gained from the course. 

He assured the GFF of his undivided strive to partner with them for football development, Momodou Demba, development officer at the GNOC moderated the opening ceremony, Twenty coaches are attending the training at thethat  Djeliba Hotel until April 7.
