Five players from the Rush Gambia Academy have been scouted for possible recruitment into the Rush Academy in North Carolina, in the US.
The five were selected from a series of demonstration matches between the academy and QCity academy as well as among the academies two branches in Bakau and Lamin.
The scouting was conducted by two visiting Rush officials R AUL Cornelius Voss, a coach and technician and Tiago Calbano, director of international affairs who are on a tour of Rush academies in Senegal, Gambia and Ghana, with Nigeria and Togo expected to join as new comers. The duo conducted similar scouting in the countries they visited.
The head of Rush Gambia Omar Sise coordinated the activities and drew satisfaction that good talents have been discovered from the Rush Gambia Academy.
Rush Academy is US based football academy with branches in over two dozen states in America and partners around Africa and elsewhere.
