Sista Njie who starts her TV show soon is one of the most recognizable names and voices on the air waves. She started at West Coast Radio and is now anchor of the famous Wahsahalat show on Capital FM. Sista had announced several dates for the anniversary, but they were all postponed due to what she referred to as “circumstances beyond my control”.
“Finally the new date is November 21st at Penchami Hall. I am urging all my fans to come and support. They will enjoy every bit of the show Wahsahalat live on stage and many Gambian artistes will be performing live on stage”, she revealed.
Asked why the much-talked about show was postponed twice, Sista Njie replied:
“It was all due to venue problems which forced us to postpone the first one. We got another venue a few days before the show but it was too late to do the show. We had less than a week for promotion so we decided to postpone it following a decision made by my team and bosses.”
