“We are starting with this group and we selected today May 19 as our launching to mark the one year anniversary of the demise of our man, Max Jallow, who had always inspired young kids in sports,” said Yahya Darboe, technical director and head coach.

The academy’s mission statement stated: “AISA is a soccer academy with a simple objective; to discover, nurture and expose young talented footballers and create opportunities for them to realise their dreams.”

The new Brufut academy will start with a big bang especially when a container full of materials worth over US$3,000 arrives.

“We have sets of jersey, bibs, coaches track suits, goalkeeper wears, markers, cones, balls, whistles and other materials soon arriving,” Darboe said.
