The Assets Management and Recovery Corporation, AMRC, the body formed by an Act of Parliament in 1993 to recover monies owed to the former Gambia commercial bank among others, has issued a statement demanding some 502,972, 425 from a long list of debtors.
The list includes prominent Gambian businessmen and well-known businesses some of which have ceased to exist.
